SATOUG Meeting – Friday April 20th, 2012 from 11am - 1pm
A local transplant to the South Central Texas region Warren Capps, president of Illuminations Inc,  will be presenting on the following topics.

Masque of the Red Data.  As data privacy becomes a greater issue with organizations, managing data exposure to groups such as developers, testers, contractors, etc can become a problem.  How can you provide realistic data while protecting its privacy?  This presentation will look at a number of techniques of data masking to obfuscate the meaning of the data while maintaining its characteristics.  We will look at "roll your own" techniques, third party solutions, and Oracle's Data Masking Pack.
Yeah, Team!  Using APEX's team development module to manage your projects.  APEX 4.0/4.1 provides a module that can be of great use for project management of both APEX and non-APEX development projects.  However, it takes a bit of a non-traditional approach that needs a little explanation We will take a detailed look at what this module can do for you, and how it can be incorporated directly into APEX applications for feedback.  Demonstrations will be used to illustrate the working principles behind Team Development.

We are still finalizing the location so as soon as we have it finalized we will let you know.
